Overview & Highlights

Nestled conveniently along the scenic CA-299 in Canby, California, Coffee Adventure Coffee Shop is a charming oasis for travelers and locals alike seeking a warm embrace of excellent coffee and comforting bites. This delightful coffee shop stands out not just for its prime highway location but for its genuine hospitality and thoughtfully crafted menu offerings.

The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a soothing, inviting atmosphere that immediately calms the spirit, a welcome reprieve from the road or daily routine. The friendly staff truly make every visit feel personal, with attentive service that reflects a deep passion for customer satisfaction.

The beverage menu is a rich tapestry of classic coffee shop delights, designed to satisfy every preference. For a robust start, the Brewed Coffee is reliably hot, strong, and ready to fuel your next adventure at just $2.00. Those seeking something creamier can indulge in the velvety Latte or the decadently smooth Mocha or White Mocha, each expertly balanced with steamed milk, espresso, and flavored syrup options. For a refined twist on a traditional tea experience, the London Fog, infused with Earl Grey, lavender, and vanilla syrup, is a subtle delight at $3.00.

On warmer days, the iced selections impress just as much—refreshing Iced Coffee and the ever-popular Cold Brew provide crisp, invigorating options, while the creative Iced Breeze, sparkling with sparkling water or Sprite combined with flavored syrups, offers a fun, fizzy escape. The shop’s frappes and smoothies, including the luscious Crème Frappe and energizing Coffee Frappe, are smooth, icy treats that leave a lasting impression.

But Coffee Adventure Coffee Shop isn’t just about drinks. Customers rave about the fresh, homemade food selections—from breakfast sandwiches ready to jumpstart your morning to baked goods that perfectly complement your cup of coffee. The bagels, cookies, and savory options evoke the warmth of a home kitchen, delivering satisfying flavors that feel both comforting and indulgent.

Road-trippers especially appreciate this gem as a rare food and drink stop along their journey. As Seth K notes, it’s the ideal alternative to typical truck stops: welcoming, genuine, and a breath of fresh air with “hot and strong” coffee and delightful snacks. Regulars and new visitors alike find the prices fair and the experience worth repeating—a sentiment echoed by many, including Wayne Overson, who wished he had grabbed more of the “fantastic” cookies.

This coffee shop also offers a cozy ambiance enhanced by tasteful touches like plants and local crafts that add a sweet, calming vibe. It’s a place where you can truly pause, refresh, and recharge in a space as inviting as the drinks are satisfying.

Whether you’re passing through Canby en route to Reno or simply seeking a spot to relax with a perfectly crafted chai latte or an inventive frappe, Coffee Adventure Coffee Shop promises a memorable and comforting experience. It’s more than a quick coffee stop—it’s a heartfelt adventure in every cup.

Excellent little shop for a quick bite to eat and drink! The bagel was great and the coffee was hot and strong. They were warm and welcoming people. If you're coming from Portland to Reno in a Semi it's one of your only options for food and a great one at that! Give me this over a truck stop any day! Loved it and hope I will be back soon!

A much needed Haven during my long road trip. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, excellent customer service, clean bathroom and fair prices. I ordered a custom Frappe and the owner had no problem making it taste delicious. The variety of premade breakfast sandwhiches, premade lunch items, both bottled and fresh made drinks as well as fresh baked goods was sensational. There is also ice creams, chips and local art for sale. Seats about 12 people total inside. I highly recommend if you are driving through Northeast CA.

Cute place with friendly staff and yummy looking food. Great coffee!

Adorable shop with excellent food, coffee, drinks, plants, crafts and so many things. The food and service were excellent. Food was homemade and delicious. The prices were very inexpensive- especially for the quality. The atmosphere was very sweet & calming.

We were on our way to Vegas. When we realized we took a left instead of a right and stumbled upon this beautiful coffee shop. This appeared to be the only store open in the town around 7pm. We had to turn around and go the correct direction. We stopped to enjoy a small hot coco. Supper happy she made the coco with milk! She super friendly and we appreciate that she was open. Swing by check out all the amazing hand crafted items.

Super cool little shop off the highway. Coffee was great and the cookie was fantastic. Should have gotten more.

We were surprised and delighted to find such amazing coffee and baked goods in the middle of nowhere on our trip from Dufur to the Bay Area! We will definitely return. We would welcome a shop like this in our town!

Coffee was excellent. I will always stop here for coffee from now on. The attendant was also a very nice person.
